Funding

In the state of California, you may have the option of receiving speech therapy services that are fully or partially funded. If you are seeking therapy for a child who is under 3 years old, consider looking into regional center services. If your child is over 3, they may be eligible for services through your local school district.

Some insurance companies fund speech therapy services. To find out if your insurance company covers speech therapy, call the number on the back of your insurance card. They may be able to provide you with a list of in-network providers.

At this time, Echo Speech Therapy is not an “in-network” provider with any insurance companies. However, many insurance companies provide reimbursement benefits for speech therapy. If you are interested in reimbursement, please contact your insurance company directly and verify the specifics related to benefits for speech therapy reimbursement for an “out-of-network provider” prior to the initiation of services. Echo Speech Therapy can provide you with a receipt listing procedure and diagnosis codes (called a SuperBill) upon request which can be submitted by you to your insurance company. Please note that at this time, we are unable to interact directly with your insurance company including making phone calls, submitting documents, etc.
